I think I'll start by saying that City Morgue is one of the band I listened to the most.
Even if they didn't change their style for their last 4 projects, I NEEDED more shit like that so that wasn't a problem for me (until BOTTOM OF THE BARREL, I stopped listening to their music that much by the time of it's release).
When Sosmula dropped his first solo project, I was hooked immediately and I even started thinking it was the best project released under the City Morgue group.
Similarly, I loved his second project, it was just so much fun.
To give an idea of the Sosmula sound, I like to say that he is to Trap music what 100gecs are to Pop music (on a sound level).
On SLEEZ RELIGION, he keeps experimenting his trap sound as always with whisper rap (on songs like CANDY MAN, SHARK TEETH (DEATH DEALER PT.2), DEAD PRESIDENTZ) and weird vocals (SLASHER (PT.2), BOOGIE MAN, SUPA-SAVAGE, BURNING FLAGS).
But he's also exploring other genres like emo-rock that I didn't thought he will try again on solo projects (PATCHED JEANS, SEX PISTOL, CYDEBORG).
I especially liked the skit where you can hear him getting head, or the song where he used the grape stomping lady fall audio.
My favs songs are :SUPA-SAVAGE, BOOGIE MAN, PASSPORT TO MAGONIA, PATCHED JEANS and SERGEANT SLAUGHTER.
